About Us

The 29th Legislative District is a microcosm of the people of Tacoma, Pierce County and Washington state.

We are racially, ethnically and religiously diverse. The majority of the work force is blue collar, but we also have a growing white collar and small business base.

The 29th Legislative District Democrats, have a long history of bringing a variety of different people into the political process to help solve problems that concern us all and to preserve and improve the quality of life in Pierce county. The more that people become politically aware, the more they become active citizens in the political process.

We are committed to upholding and protecting the rights of the citizens of the 29th Legislative District, Pierce County, Washington state and the United States. We do this by supporting the reasons and ideals set forth in the founding documents of the United States - (The Declaration Of Independence, The United States Constitution and The Bill Of Rights).
